  • With the innovation economy growing faster than most industries, the need to apply a more inclusive lens is essential. As more companies, industries and countries accelerate their digital transformation, the digital divide will increase without intentional focus on skilling and talent.

    The Cyber Nations Initiative was created in Canada by a Coalition of Leaders working together to educate and employ 100,000 African, Caribbean and Canadian learners within the global cyber security industry. Engaging the global workforce to solve one of the planets biggest challenges (digital security) is good for business, and great for humanity.

  • Cybersecurity analysts are tasked with protecting data and systems from compromise. Key jobs available include:

    • Cybersecurity Analysts that perform tasks such as monitoring systems

    • Vulnerability Analysts that are responsible for discovering vulnerabilities and risks

    • Incident Responders that are accountable for dealing with cyber issues

    • Cyber Literacy Coordinators that are responsible for cyber training, awareness, and simulations

  • Applicants should have a high school diploma and successfully complete background and reference checks.

  • Costs vary per region and subsidies may be available for learners with special needs.

  • A typical entry-level Cybersecurity Analyst can earn between $30,000 to $50,000 per year.

    3. Applicant receives a link to complete the PLUM Assessment.

    4. Applicant virtually meets Cyber Nations team member for an introductory conversation.

    5. Cyber Nations shares admissions decision along with feedback for next steps.
